Covid Restrictions & Extention

Due to the NM Stay at Home Orders the dates for running and reporting your times have been extended to December 5th.

This event is meant to be an individual or small, immediate household family activity. Please do not run in a large group(no more than 5), wear your masks and social distance at least 6 feet apart. Turkey Trot Participants

This year marks the thirteenth anniversary of the Atalaya Turkey Trot 5k Race and 1k Kids' Fun Run! This year you will have to join us virtually! With over 450 runners, the trot has become a thanksgiving tradition for the Santa Fe community and for the many visitors who come to town for the holidays. Now the tradition can be brought to any town! This race is the biggest fundraiser for the Atalaya Elementary PTA, providing critical funding to support our kids and teachers! Therefore, help us out, sign up and pass it on!

Our school needs partners to make this fun, family-friendly community event a success! Sponsorship dollars not only help defray the cost of hosting the race, but more importantly, they help provide goods and services for Atalaya students that are not covered by the school district, such as library books, enrichment programs, teacher stipends, and classroom supplies.
