We were able to hold our last two races in 2020 and both were a success in terms of safety and managing covid precautions. Our races are smaller in size due to taking place on the trails and we are confident we can safely hold these events in 2021.
We will always put our runners first. We will do whatever we can to make this race happen while keeping the runners safe. If we are unable to do this runners will be issued credits or refunds. We are optimistic though and really hope with the vaccine and safety measures we will begin beating this virus!
Why should I sign up for this race?
Beautiful course, food, good company, race photos, custom locally made finisher medal and awards, friendly competition, performance t-shirt, and swag. What more could you want? Really if you can think of something let us know and we will try to get it!

Bonneville Half Marathon runner cap - 150
Happy Trails Running started in 2019 and hosts a new series of races focusing on beautiful scenery and amazing courses. We believe in promoting and using local businesses for support and supplies. Our finisher medals are custom made right here in the USA. We want to make races that are affordable and provide a great experience for runners of all skill levels.
Local time: 6:30 AM
We have no time limits on our races with the marathon being the exception. All of our races are much smaller with limited amounts of runners so we do not overwhelm the trails. Quality over quantity!
These races feature our favorite trails along the beautiful Wasatch Mountains with a distance and difficulty level for everyone. Whether you are doing your first 5k, half marathon, marathon, or running as a team, we hope you will enjoy these awesome races!
