Registration will close Aug. 30 at noon! Packet pickup will be on Saturday August 31 from 4-6 pm at Gravity Sports in McCall.
Event Info
The run will consist of 3 distances, 30k, 8.6 mile, and 5K. The 30k is the full round-the-lake run. This run will start at 8 am with runners leaving E. Lake Street above Browns Park and entering the highway at Hotel McCall intersection. We would like to request brief traffic control at this location for the few minutes it takes all runners to proceed through the intersection. Once on W. Lake Street, runners continue on to Warren Wagon Road, turning on to East Side Drive at the North end of the lake. Runners follow E. Side Drive on to Lick Creek Road. At the intersection of Lick Creek Road and Davis, runners will transition to Ruby Street, McCall Ave., then to E. Lake Street on to the finish back at Brown's Park. The 10K run (distance is closer to 8.5 miles) will depart at 9:00 am from near North Beach, at Water Station #4 and run on East Lake Road to Lick Creek Road, following the second half of the 30K course. The 5K course will start at 10:00 am Water Station #7, at the junction of Lick Creek Rd and East Lake Drive. You'll travel the same course as the 10 and 30K to the finish from your start. There will be buses to get to the 5K and 10K starts. PLEASE ENSURE YOU GET ON THE RIGHT BUS. Packet Pick-Up Info
Packet pickup is Saturday, September 2nd from 4-6 pm at Gravity Sports. Please schedule yourself in to the packet pick up, as it gets very hectic on the morning of. There will be morning of check in for those who can’t make it Saturday afternoon, however we encourage everyone to attend the Packet Pick Up on Saturday. We do allow one person to pick up multiple packets for friends, family, running partners etc.
Awards Info.
We will hold the award ceremony as close to 11:30am as possible. We really want the last finishers to complete the course before we start handing out the awards, and since we go three deep for age group awards, many runners will be receiving awards. We understand if you can’t stick around after you finish the 10k, but you are encouraged to go back to where you are staying and come back for the awards ceremony. We will have beer and refreshments in the park for the post race party, and we usually have some great raffle prizes to keep you interested.
Aid Stations
The stations will be staffed by our volunteers and local kids, they always do such a great job, and are so happy to do so. The water stations are about every 2 miles. When you run by them make sure you thank them.
