We´re excited to present the 13th Annual Battle at Big Creek Trail Running Race!

Runners registration for the 2021 Battle at Big Creek 10.3/5.5 Mile Trail Running Race is OPEN! We will have a cap on this race of 350 Participants! We are placing a cap on this event for 2 reasons... 1 parking availability, 2 getting that amount of runners into the woods (this race has reached capacity each year... if you are interested in participating please register soon)!

Packet Pick Up!

Packet pickup will be the morning of the race starting at 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Race starts at 8:00 a.m. SHARP!

Race Course

RACE COURSE

This is a great single and double track off-road running experience. The race will start on the Greenway Concrete Trail (required for spacing) but will soon lead into the woods. The terrain is made up of a little bit of everything, rolling hills, single track, double track, roots, rocks (did we say rocks) along with some technical sections (tight and twisty). We will have water at mile 3.3, 3.8, 5.2, 8.0, 8.5. The 5.5 milers will turn hard left after 1 lap (at 5.2 miles), the 10.3 milers will continue straight at that point (crossing over the wooden bridge at the sewer cap and do the same dirt trail loop again). When the 10 milers get back to the sewer cap (2nd time) they will turn hard left (at 10.1 miles). The course is beautiful and offers something for every runner truly wishing to ´ditch the city´.
