Course Change Notification
NOTICE TO ALL ENTRANTS - as of 6/28 we were notified by the USNA that we would not be able to run on the Greenbury Point loop section of the course due to live fire instruction that was now scheduled for our race day. The USNA leadership worked with us to support a modified course that is approximately 2.43 miles in length that adds a loop out onto Possum Point. You will get the same (I think better) view of the Chesapeake Bay and Bay Bridge. We apologize for this late change but it was out of our control. Unfortunately, this does eliminate the certified marathon course that would have been associated with original course.
Introduction
The Annapolis Striders are proud to bring you the 12th Annual Endless Summer 6-Hour Run.
This event is a proud benefactor of the Semper Fi Fund-a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity. A small portion of the race entry fee will go to benefit this fund. We ask that you consider contributing further when asked during Ultra Signup check out.
Race start @ 7:00AM.
Directions
Use GPS address of 265 Bullard Blvd, Harwood, MD 21402 to get to Greenbury Point in Annapolis, MD. Follow parking attendants for appropriate parking on race day. Do NOT park without attendants direction - The Navy is specific about how we need to park within the area. Thanks in advance!
Check-In & Facilities
We will be based out of the Greenbury Point pavilion. Please bring your own water bottle/hydration pack as we will have limited cups at the Aid Station
Aid Station
There will be one Aid Station at the Start. The course is a loop so you will pass by the Aid Station with each loop
Awards
Awards to overall Solo Runners (Male/Female/Masters/Military categories), overall relay team *3 runners per team* (Male/Female/Mixed categories), and top Male/Female in 10-year age groups (29&Under through 60&Up) covering the most distance within the time limits. Medals to all participants.
Premium
A Beach Towel with the endless summer logo will be provided to the first 150 registered participants. Extras may be ordered in an attempt to provide them for later entries but cannot be guaranteed. Medals to the first 150 registered participants.
