Last at the Lake 10k & 5k

Welcome to the 2022 Last at the Lake 5k/10k!

As always, it is going to be CRAZY HOT and VERY FUN!

This year, we have 2 races running simultaneously. A 5k and 10k Trail Race
Both races will start at 8:00 am sharp. There is a Last Man Standing Race which starts the day before at 8am and runs until it is done, so there is a possibility that you will be running along side a few weary runners during this event.

We will run rain or shine. Although, the temperature in July at West Point Lake will have you wishing for a little rain.

We are limited to 100 total runners. Register soon as this race will sell out.

Course

Last at the Lake is held on the Turkey Run Trail at West Point Lake (Georgia side). (500 Resource Management Drive, West Point, GA).
The 5k loop is 3.1 miles. The start of the loop is wide grass road bed next to West Point Lake which leads to the Turkey Run Trail which is mostly rolling single track. About 150' of elevation per loop. There is a small portion of road on the race course. Less that 1/2 mile.

The 10k loop is an extension of the 5k loop and will wind you through most of the park.

It is a very pretty run and full of all the thing you would expect at a good trail race. You know, rocks, roots, wildlife, and lots of dirt.

Awards

Every participant will receive a T-shirt, finishers medal, and a few other fun treats.

A special award will be given to the first 3 men and women to finish the 5k and 10k race.
