The Chattooga 24H/12H/Relay is a timed even like no other....

With live entertainment in the evening, access to full showers, catered food, craft beer, and lodging at the Chattooga River Resort and Campground, you might just be tempted to chill instead of run. Bring the family for a fun weekend of running, camping, food, and good company.

24H: 8am Saturday to 8am Sunday

12H Day: 8am Saturday to 8pm Saturday
12H NIGHT: 8pm Saturday to 8am Sunday

Chattooga River Resort and Campground in Long Creek, SC

PRICE:

24 Hour - $75 until July 19th, $95 until September 17th

12 Hour Day/Night - $65 until July 19th, $85 until September 17th

24 Hour Relay (up to 6 people) - $275 until July 19th, $325 until September 17th

12 Hour Day/Night Relay (up to 6 people) - $225 until July 19th, $275 until September 17th

Shirts guaranteed to all participants who register before September 1st.

Same day registration is welcome, but a shirt is not guaranteed.

About the course...

Elevation gain per loop- Approximately 90 ft


Each loop contains grass, double track, single track, gravel road, and a bit of pavement/patio. Truly something for everyone!


Headlamp required for night running... IT GETS DARK!


The Chattooga River Resort and Campground has all the amenities that you want!!! There are heated showers, a restaurant, a bar, 8 rooms tons of camping, two stages and tons more! Not to mention the Chattooga River Resort and Campground specializes in rafting the Chattooga River. You can book a rafting trip for the family or for yourself!



Use this event as a training run for your favorite or goal fall ultra! Or simply come out to be social while you enjoy live music and good food! Do the distance of your choosing, at the speed of your preference. This is the perfect event for people who want to break into the distance of an ultra without the pressure of a distance or cut-off time.

Weekend schedule...

Friday September 19th:
6pm - 8pm: Packet pick-up at the Chattooga River Resort and Campground

Saturday September 20th:
6am - 7:30am: Packet pick-up and runner check-in at the Chattooga River Resort and Campground (Start/Finish)
8am Saturday: Start for the 24H, 12H Day, 24H Relay, 12H Day Relay.
Until 7:30pm: Check-in for 12H Night, 12H Night Relay

7pm THE BANDS AND THE PARTYING BEGIN!!!

8pm: Finish for 12H Day, 12H Day Relay 8pm: Start for 12H Night, 12H Night Relay

Sunday September 21st:
8am: Finish for 24H, 24H Relay, 12H Night, 12H Night Relay
8:30am: Awards ceremony at Start/Finish
9am: After party / Rafting and waterplay on the Chattooga

a room to stay in 10 ft from the course at the resort (we do not book this you have to call them) there are only 7 rooms. You must call the resort and book though. These rooms are stupid comfortable. The nicest and softest bed i have ever slept on!
