Come celebrate the kick off of summer on June 11 and participate on our 3rd annual Freeman Lake Trail Summer series. This series will start with a 5K Walk/Run and 1K FREE Kids run on the same date and followed by on July 9th with a 8K Walk/Run and 1K FREE Kids run and finish the series with a 10K or 5K Trail Run/Walk and 1K FREE Kids run on August 13th. The goal of this summer trail runs/walks are to encourage everyone to stay fit while enjoying nature on our beautifull local trails along side Freeman Lake here in E'Town! This is a NON-PROFIT event and 100% of All NET profits from this series will be donated to ALL local HS Cross-Country programs in Elizabethtown City, Hardin County High Schools and The Greenbelt trails administration.

All Walk/Runs will start and finish from The new Elizabethtown Nature Park located at 1900 Ring Rd east (along Ring Rd between the Freeman Meadows and Foxborough Estates subdivision) All three runs/walks will start at 0800 and all kids runs will start at approx 0900. All routes will be out and back with designated water stops along the way with volunteers assisting with run/walk routes and turnaround points.

Same day registration will be available for each race for $30 each. Registration will be from 7-7:50am near the starting line at the Nature Park each morning.

Free kids run will be for ages 5-9 years old. Parents or Guardians will present to participate.
