Part of the race course takes place on what is called The Amanda Trail, a stretch of trail dedicated to the memory of the Native Americans who were forced out (and many who lost their life) when the coastal land was taken over by settlers. Part of our permit fees go directly to the preservation of this trail. 100% of any donations made here will go directly to either Cape Perpetua Trails Fund or View the Future.
