      The timing chip is not needed as there were tons of course monitors for someone trying to cut the course. My saying is nothing new race day, if you have not trained with it, do not use it race day. I have a good friend who was seriously injured using the ankle chip during the WS 100. He developed tendonitis. I carried three bottles and ran out of water. More AID is needed on a warm day. T-shirts need to be given out pre-race. At the post-race pick up they were out of the large I paid for.
