    Thanks for putting on another terrific Quad - and thanks for the beautiful weather. I am a bit confused about the listed rankings. There are guys younger than me with a longer elapsed time but a higher ranking. How are these rankings calculated?

      Hans, that is their historical ranking for all their events, not just the Quad dipsea. Also, the regular ranking calculation does not factor in age. Ranking is a calculation similar to the curve, back in school. Everyone (gender specific) is based off of the winning time.
