    Anyone want to start getting some training runs going out of portions of the race. as this will be my first 50 miler and want to get used to the course?

    Our race director for this "magic" adventure has posted adjustments to cutoff times which afford a greater chance of success for us geezers! ...and has added an early start option for the 50 mile event! For newer lads and lassies to ultra running, these adjustments may also be enhancing. Check them out on the race web site. :-)

    Meeting up Sunday the 11th at 6 am on south side of foot bride that goes over the lake off west bernardo drive. we are going to do about 25 miles of the course using car as aid station. so half one way then half the other way. Want to get some miles in on the race course. so if anybody else want to go you can do the first half or the whole run with us. Running at a friendly conversation pace. Just want to get to know this course as there are many parts that i have not run.
