Is this race within the National Park or just outside of it? Deciding whether the wife will bring the puppy dog or not. (fingers crossed for a cool front!)

The FAQ indicates that "The race takes place on forest service land adjacent to the park." So it is outside the National Park.

what is the average high/low temperatures for race day?

Prepare to see highs in the low 80's at some point during the day and lows in the upper 30's at night

This race came up when I searched for "easy" in the difficulty level. How is that determined? I would want to do the 50k. Thanks!

Not sure how ultrasignup is measuring difficulty, but most people underestimated the course difficulty last year. The course has approx. 5,000 ft of gain at altitude (between 7,200 and 9,000 ft). Should prob be classified as "difficult".
