    Trouble finding the starting line? Two different years, I've gotten lost driving to starting line. Each year, I wasn't the only one who ended up deadended at a locked trail gate. This time, I just made SURE to google maps to "96 Mitchell Canyon Rd", which I thought I'd done in previous years, but maybe not. Maybe I GPS'ed to the starting line and my phone misdirected me. I feel good with directions I just got from race's link to Google Maps, to 96 Mitchell Canyon, but if anyone knows about frequent "wrong turns" people take or why people have gotten lost multiple times, please speak up, if you don't mind. Thank you so much!

      Hi Dan! That is the correct address, we start at the Mitchell Canyon Trailhead in CLAYTON. If you had simply googled Mt Diablo, maps would probably have brought you to either South Gate Road in Danville, or North Gate Road in Walnut Creek, neither would lead you to the start line. Please use the address you found on the website. See you Sunday!
