The Bulldog Information

Hello and welcome to The Bulldog 24/12 Hour track run. We are going to bring to South Florida a world class track timed run. This race is a personal challenge for runners at ALL levels whether you are a back of the packer or someone trying to qualify for the 24 Hour championships. Everyone is welcome here!!! Garcia High School is a brand new facility and track and will be a excellent venue to hold the race.

The race will be sanctioned by USATF and the course is certified, so any performances are records-eligible. The race will be timed by the one and only Sir Mike Melton.

Where : Dr. Joaquin Garcia High School. West Lake Worth Florida.

24 and 12 hour Race starts November 30th at 8:30AM. There will be a nighttime 12 Hour starting at 9PM for those needing a night time training run.

There will be ample area to set up your tent and supplies in lanes 7-8.

There will be a full aid station at the start/finish area with all the usual ultra fare. We will have Pizza brought in for dinner at 6PM. Athletes should come prepared to take care of any special dietary needs and bring any additional food items they require.

We will change directions every 4 hours.

Awards : There will be a very nice buckle for those achieving 100 or more miles in the 24 hour race.
There will be a 100K, 50 miles and 50k award for runners in the 12 or 24 hour achieving
those mileage goals.

We will also have a first to 50K, first to 100k and first to 100 Miles
awards for male and female which will be
like a race within the race. You can race to 50K and stop if you wish and or race to 100k
and stop if you wish or continue on to bigger goals. So theoretically one runner could win
the first to 50k, first to 100k and first to 100 miles and then go on to win the overall
mileage award.



For those flying in from out of town Palm Beach International Airport is 30 minutes away and Fort Lauderdale is one hour away.
