The Quicksilver Challenge includes 3 races: a 10K, a Half Marathon, and a one mile Kids Race, run on scenic, single track trails and fire roads in the historic Quicksilver mining territory of Almaden Quicksilver County Park. Travel through peaceful oak forests and open meadows, with great views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Although the course is very challenging, the beautiful scenery will make the miles go by quickly. If you’ve only run roads before, the Quicksilver Challenge is a wonderful introduction to trail running. All finishers will receive a finishers medal but there will not be tee shirts given out for this event. Proceeds from this event will again be donated to Achieve Kids. Over the years Quicksilver Running Club has donated nearly $100,000 to the Achieve Kids organization.
We will be offering same-day registration the morning of the race from 7am.
Day of race entry fees:
- 10K: $50
- Half Marathon: $60
The one mile kids race will $10.
