Welcome to the home page for the Badger Mountain Challenge, one of South Eastern Washington's only ultra marathons. Badger Mountain is the premier climbing, hiking, and running area for the Tri-Cities, and offers expansive views of the beautiful Columbia Basin. The Badger Mountain Preserve was established in 2005 to ensure that this community has open spaces for outdoor recreation.
The next annual Badger Mountain Challenge will be held on March 28th and 29th, 2014. This run offers three distances; 15k, 50k, and 100 miles. This a great opportunity to be involved in a new race that has a small town, country feel but has all the support of a big race.
This will be a fun day for all, even those who aren't competitive and would just like to run or hike the course while enjoying the local ridges and open spaces. All entrants can enjoy a post race meal and event expo after the race.
We will need volunteers in order for this race to be a success, so please click here to fill out a form if you are interested in helping. All volunteers will receive a long sleeve shirt with the race logo on it and a free entrance to a BMC 15km race in the future.
This is also a great opportunity to show your support for the health and fitness of our local community. To get more information on how you can get more involved and be a sponsor for the event click here.
