Description

YOU CAN STILL REGISTER AT THE STARTING LINE THE DAY OF THE RACE!!! GOOD WEATHER AND GOOD TIMES! Come participate in the 9th annual White Salmon Backyard Half and new 4 Miler!

This year we will be starting earlier at 9:00 am, running the course counterclockwise, AND we will have a shorter 4 mile trail for people not ready to commit to the 1/2 marathon! Hikers are also welcome. The rocky section will now be taken as an uphill and be much easier on the feet and legs! The downhill will be a pleasure this year!

Once again, it is FREE to enter! If you can spare a little change, a suggested donation of $25 or more will go to the White Salmon Cross Country Boosters who are staffing the aid stations. Proceeds will also support the Columbia Gorge Running Club student scholarship fund! The Booster Club helps the Columbia High School Cross Country team go to camp, compete in an amazing meet in Seaside, OR, and much more! The CGRC scholarship helps high school runners continue their goals beyond high school. Donate for the kids! Additional donations and donations less than $25 will be available at the race.

Also, you can sign up without donating. If you change your mind, you can donate at the run.

Last year we had almost 300 runners participate, and we are hoping for the same this year!
