OLD MAN 52K

Back for year three. A 52K and a 5.2 mile. This year's course will not have near the climbing. but will feature some of the best of the Preserve and Foothill trails. We will start and stay in the Northern Preserve (Brown's Ranch, Granite, etc). Looping Granite, Cholla, Brown's and Cone Mountains. Perfect trails, twisty-turny, up down little rollers, as fun as trail running gets. Amazing Sonoran Desert backdrop, vegetation, critters and scenery. Post race back to our place as always where a cold one (two, five whatever), a sweaty hug and a cool finishers reward awaits.

Of course we are doing the party thing that night (and we really don't even need St. Patty's as an excuse). A keg (no green beer), a case of wine, and some sippin Agave nectar of course. Room to crash on a couch, pitch a backyard tent, pull up a floor, whatever. Fun stuff, hope you can join.

** Remember this is NOT a 'formal event' as the Preserve does not allow that. No flagging. I will pass out turn cards or maps and have the course online soon. If you end up missing a turn, no worries, just keep running around the Ranch until you get 52K - there is not a bad trail in the Preserve
