This Event Took Place Sat. Aug 10, 2013

Montana de Oro State Park, Los Osos, CA

The "Mountain of Gold" is a coastal treasure.  It offers a mix of rugged, rocky cliffs, coastal plains, sandy beaches and streams.  The views of Spooner Beach, the ocean and the diverse terrain and flora are beautiful.  You'll be running on trails as old as the Chumush people.

Aid Stations

We will provide a variety of fresh fruit, salty snacks, salted potatoes, PB&J sandwiches, Salt Stick salt tabs, sugary snacks, Clif bloks and gels, electrolyte sports drink, cola and water.  Runners in the 50 km may leave a drop bag at the 25 km aid station with personal needs. Additionally, it is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid station.
