Revised Course

 

Please note that he new course will be a loop course and will include some trail.

 

The race will start at the Buckeye Recreation Center on Grassy Gap Creek Rd.  Runners will head southwest on Grassy Gap Creek Rd. or right out from the Recreation Center.  The start of the course is generally down to the .45 mile mark.  The course then follows Pinnacle Ridge road. and starts going up, steeply. There are several hairpin switchback turns and is just generally steep.  At 2.4 miles the curse turns left onto Arrowood road, which is less than 1/4 mile long.  Then left on to Pine Ridge road and another left immediately after onto Grassy Gap Creek trail.  You will now be on this trail going down the mountain all the way back to Buckeye Recreation Center and the finish.
