The Southern New Mexico Trail Alliance brings you the 7th annual running of the Sierra Vista Trail Runs. The trail race is a fundraiser for the Southern New Mexico Trail Alliance.
Local time: 1:06 AM
For 2018, the runs will stay the same as in 2017. There will be distances of 50k, 30k, 10k, 5k, and 1 mile kid’s fun run.
We keep registration low to make trail racing financially accessible for more people. For the first month of registration, costs are $1/kilometer for the 50k and 30k and special low price for the 10k and 5k. As always registration requires the donation and an old pair of shoes. Bring the shoes to packet pick up or race day. They will be donated to the Mesilla Valley Community of Hope, http://www.mvcommunityofhope.org/.
50k registration includes a unique t-shirt designed by a local artist and a finishers award. T-shirts can be ordered for $15 extra for the other distances. If you want a T-shirt please register early. Sizes cannot be guaranteed after February 10, 2017. Extras will be ordered but sizes and quantities will be limited and available on a first come first serve basis. There will be awards for top three men and women in all distances. Post race awards and food will be provided.
The 50k will begin at 7AM, 30k will begin at 8:00AM
The 10k will begin at 9AM 5k at 9:15AM and kid's fun run at 12PM.
The Sierra Vista Trail Runs is the primary fundraiser for the Southern New Mexico Trail Alliance. All proceeds will be donated to the Southern New Mexico Traill Alliance to preserve and enhance the trails and outdoor recreation in the area, snmta.org. Last year the funds supported trail work days and trail building workshops.
