Orientation and in-person registration continues this weekend, June 20, 2015, at 7:30AM. If you can't make this date, we have a final orientation and registration on June 27, 2015. We meet at the back of William Pond Park and begin the morning with a brief program orientation and then do a short run or walk to find the perfect pace group for you. So bring your running or walking shoes!
Sacfit is Sacramento's First Class running and walking club. We provide training programs that get results for every fitness level, whether you are an advanced runner looking to get faster or just starting out and wanting to jump back into fitness. Along the way, we provide an environment that is fun and safe with amenities that are second to none. Our 2015 Summer/Fall session also provides an opportunity for beginning, intermediate, and advanced runners and walkers to train and participate in the local running and walking events.
For those interested in participating and/or competing in local running or walking events, our training program is aligned with a number of races, including:
- The 10-Mile Buffalo Stampede and Migration
- The Urban Cow Half Marathon
- The California International Marathon
For those who are interested in getting outside and starting a fitness program, we offer our General Fitness Program, which is geared toward non-competitive training and includes a fitness walking program.
All the training program workout schedules include three mid-week workouts ( Mon, Tues, and Thurs) and a Saturday morning long workout. The workouts options for Tuesday include several evening, supervised venues to choose from and the Saturday morning long workouts include coach led pace groups, usually about 10-15 teammates, so you’re never running alone!

If proceeding East on Hwy 50
Exit at Watt Avenue North. Travel North on Watt Avenue over the river and turn right at Fair Oaks Blvd. Travel about 2.5 miles and turn Right on Arden Way. Travel down Arden Way for about a mile and it goes right into the William Pond Park entrance. Keep driving along the access road and park in any of the spaces available
If proceeding West on Hwy 50
Exit at Watt Avenue North. Travel North on Watt Avenue over the river and turn right at Fair Oaks Blvd. Travel about 2.5 miles and turn Right on Arden Way. Travel down Arden Way for about a mile and it goes right into the William Pond Park entrance. Keep driving along the access road and park in any of the spaces available.
To begin your experience with Sacfit, we offer beverages, bagels, and fruit after you finish your pace run. Subsequent weeks will include post-workout raffles and informational seminars. And that's just the beginning. Get ready for a First-Class training experience!
Additional Registration Option
In-person registration is available this weekend, Saturday, June 13, 2015, and next Saturday, June 20, 2015. Just arrive a little before 7:30 AM. We accept checks and cash. Sorry, no credit cards for in-person registration.
