Picacho Trail run directions Travel West down Picacho Ave to Frontage Road, the exit before I-10 then turn Right, travel 1.4 miles on paved road, Turn Right (Box Canyon Drive) dirt road, Travel .5 miles stay right, drive approximately another 2.7 miles to the staging/starting area. Total distance off the main road is about 4.5 miles. We Will have Race/Event Signs up and visible along the road/exits. Picacho directions from I-10 Travel I-10 west towards Deming, Exit (#135) might say 70 East, or also Picacho, Turn Left onto frontage Road .1 mile from exit. Packet Pick Up!!!

Packet Pick Up and registration will be at Dicks Sporting Goods from 4-7 pm on Friday April 18th. Dicks is located at 200 N Telshor Blvd next door to Home Depot and Olive Garden. Have your running buddies come by and register if they have not by Wednesday!!!!

Description

Picacho trail runs will take place on single track trails, canyon washes, and jeep trails. Expect typical desert trail conditions including rocks, sand, cactus and gravel. Runners will travel through sections of canyon and road that will have some rock scrambles, sand and boulders. Aide/ water station will be located approximately at the 3 &6 mile mark, they will contain water, Gatorade, some gels and other snacks. The course will be well marked along with staff to help keep you on track.

Bring a chair for the after race celebration, the finish line will have food, drink and music

I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run.
I hereby certify that I am in good health and I have trained to run the distance of the race, which I am entering. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.
Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry into this running race, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Precision Fitness LLC., its officers, directors, agents, volunteers and employees, all states, cities, countries or other governmental bodies or locations in which events or segments of events are held, all sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of an kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or inline skates and animals are not allowed in the event and I will abide by this guideline. I am aware that Precision Fitness NM strongly discourages the use of personal audio
devices (iPods and MP3 headsets)
