Minors who register race day must have a parent or guardian present to sign participant waiver and release of liability, assumption of risk and indemnity agreement.
If you have not pre-registered through this site and plan on registering the morning of the run please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time so that we can get everyone entered into the timing system and not delay the start of the run. Thank you!

Update 2/10/15

Runners & walkers remember that the event this year starts on the west side of Prison Hill by the brown water tank off of Koontz and Edmonds Drive. Looks like the long distance will be about 7 miles and the short course not so short at about 3.5-3.7 miles. I'll see what I can do about making it a little bit shorter but be prepared to run that far. Weather looks good for this weekend but previous weather conditions recently and this past summer have put a bit of a beating on this mountain. Lots of wash outs and erosion with exposed rocks that make for some technical sections along the course. If you intend on registering race morning please be there at least 30 minutes prior to start to assure enough time to get you registered and added into the timing system. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH, we appreciate your understanding! Also, the Carson Canyons Half Marathon is a go for March 7. If you have already paid for the C-Hill WTS run and would like to upgrade to the Carson Canyons Half, please contact the RD at Event shirts will be an additional $35 and will be Patagonia long sleeve. Look forward to seeing everyone out there!

Series Information

This is the fourth of 5 trail runs in the 6th Annual Be Bold, Run in the Cold Winter Trail Series presented by Ascent Runs. These casual runs were created to keep runners and walker motivated through the winter months and also as a way to supplement your winter training. This series highlights the extensive trail networks surrounding Carson City, NV. There are no aid stations out on the courses so be prepared to carry your own water or sports drink. For the safety of all runners and to keep you guessing, event organizers reserve the right to change course routes and distances based on weather conditions or just for the heck of it. This series is a great trainer for the Escape From Prison Hill Half Marathon and 10K to be held on April 18, 2015.
