The 6th Annual RunforAmma Charity Run
The RunforAmma is an annual event to help raise awareness and money to aid in cutting edge research and treatments for cancer. The race is run through some of the best trails on the Peninsula and South Bay Area - in Huddart and Wunderlich Parks.
Proceeds of your race registration goes directly to UCSF BRCA research center for cancer research, and we are matching dollar for dollar thanks to the Salesforce Foundation (up to $10,000). Everyone is encouraged to supplement their automatic registration donation by donating directly on Runforamma.com.
This year, all runners get a commemorative high quality tech long sleeve running shirt and other race schwag donated by our sponsors.
** Route update as of Feb 15, 2017 **
Due to storm damage and trail closures, we have postponed the race until Sunday March 19, 2017.
We are teaming up with the BayTrailrunners
at the Whiskey Hill Redwood Run to combine races and enjoy the trails together. Course maps and GPX files available here
Supporting the Cause
Everyone involved in the RunforAmma is a friend of someone who is affected by cancer (it may even be you). My hope is that you are a survivor and that you will join us to celebrate life and love that is meant to be shared. Everyone has memories to share; we can remember our loved ones and honor them with this day of running.
Local time: 4:36 AM
If you make an additional donation in the amount of $50 or more, you will be invited to the donor dinner party after the race. We will present our donation check to the UCSF cancer research team at the dinner party. We look forward to hosting all of our donors and volunteers at this dinner party.
