Event Cancelled 2019
ReddAntler Running Is sorry to announce SUGARHOOD35 is cancelled for 2019. We will not be able to have our event due to permitting issues. We are moving ahead with the process through the State that we may be able to uphold the integrity of the course and keep the start/finish in Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Look for us in 2020
The Course
The NEW course has been extended a bit over 35 miles starting at the Robert Ferguson Observatory, Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Runners will head down Canyon trail towards the 3.5 mile climb Goodspeed to the summit of Hood Mt and down the other side across Santa Rosa Creek to the NEW Sugarloaf Ridge Annex Park and confirming the age old adage of "what comes down must go up" and over Hood Mt two more times before heading back to Sugarloaf Ridge for a tour of it's gnarly terrain and seemingly endless uphill sections and summit of Bald Mountain. After completing the Sugarloaf circuit they will return to the group campground. Runners will be treated to a tasty meal, drinks, and good company while basking in the glow of a day well spent.
Staying Here
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is located outside of Santa Rosa, in the Valley of the Moon.
Camping is available for both Friday and Saturday nights. See our add-on options for more information.
