Course Description

The UrbanICT course will be out-and-back along the Arkansas City River asphalt path from downtown Wichita to Sedgwick County Park. 1 loop for the 25K, 2 loops for the 50K, 3 loops for the 50-mile (plus a final 3.5 mile additional section). The 5K/10K courses will also run along the same River paths. Manned and unmanned aid stations will be approximately every 2.5 miles. There will be one live road crossing with live traffic where you will be required to use the crosswalk. It's a great event for first timers with a flat and easy course. Pacers WILL BE allowed for any portion of the 25K, 50K, 50-Mile.

Start & Finish; Time Limit

25K, 50K & 50-Mile will start at 9:00pm on Friday night July 27th. 13 hours is the strict time limit for 25K, 50K, 50-mile (10:00am on Saturday, July 28th). A final loop cutoff for the 50-mile only will be determined later.
The 5K and 10K will start at 9:37pm on Friday night July 27th.

Aid Stations

6 aid stations per loop plus aid at the finish line. Approximate distance between aid stations is approximately 2.5 miles in the 25K, 50K and 50-Mile.

1 aid station with water for will be available in the 5K and 2 aid stations with water will be available in the 10K.

Check In/Staging Area/Start Finish

Race headquarters will be located in downtown Wichita, Kansas at location TBA soon. Packet pickup will be held starting at 7pm on Friday night of the race start.


The courses will be USATF certified and a map will be published at a later date.
