Course Description & Maps

The UrbanICT course will be out-and-back along the Arkansas City River asphalt path from downtown Wichita to Sedgwick County Park. 1 loop for the 25K, 2 loops for the 50K, 3 loops for the 50-mile (plus 3.5 mile out and back). The 5K/10K courses will also run along the same River paths. Manned and unmanned aid stations will be approximately every 2.5 miles. There will be one live road crossing with live traffic where you will be required to use the crosswalk. It's a great event for first timers with a flat and easy course. Pacers WILL BE allowed for any portion of the 25K, 50K, 50-Mile.

SPECIAL NOTE on headlamps: Headlamp/flashlight/shoelights or some kind of light source will be REQUIRED for the 25K, 50K and 50-Mile and RECOMMENDED for 5K and 10K. While ambient city lights should suffice for most of the course there will be several sections with minimal light and a headlamp will be best for your safety.

GROUP PRICING. Contact the Race Director adam@timerguys.com for information and arrangements for a group pricing structure of 10 or more from any one organization, business, church, etc.

Start & Finish; Time Limit

25K, 50K & 50-Mile will start at 9:00pm on Friday night July 27th. 13 hours is the strict time limit for 25K, 50K, 50-mile (10:00am on Saturday, July 28th). A final loop cutoff for the 50-mile only will be determined later.
The 5K and 10K will start at 9:37pm on Friday night July 27th.

Packet pickup and check-in will begin starting at 7:00pm.

The post-race finish line for all races will include a watermelon feast! A local Wichita food truck will be present for food for purchase for the finish line of the 5K, 10K, and 25K.

Aid Stations

6 aid stations per loop plus aid at the finish line. Distance between aid stations is no more than 3.1 miles in the 25K, 50K and 50-Mile.

START/FINISH AID STATION will be open 9:00pm Friday night to 10:00am Saturday morning. 50K will pass through here at the end of first loop. 50-milers will pass through here 3 times - at the end of the first segment (mile 3.75) and then after the 1st and 2nd loops. Drop bags can be left here for 50K and 50-Mile. Water, electrolyte drink, ice, and standard ultra foods will be available including soups and a few hot options.


5K TURNAROUND AID STATION will have water. This aid station will disappear after the last 10K inbound runner.

13th & McLean AID STATION will serve at the 10K turnaround and will have water, ice, electrolyte drinks and light snack fair all through the night.

21st & WEST St. (BIG ARKANSAS RIVER PARK) AID STATION will have water, ice and light snacks.

HORSESHOE SHELTER at SEDGWICK COUNTY PARK AID STATION will be turnaround for each loop. Drop bags can be sent here from start line before the race. Drop bags should be marked with each runners name, bib # and distance. This indoor aid station will have available water, ice, electrolyte drink, and standard ultra foods including soups and a few hot options.

An optional advanced packet pickup will be held at First Gear Running Company on Thursday, July 26th from 4:00-7:00pm. First Gear is located at 111 N. Mosley St. in Wichita, KS. In-person registration will be available during this time as well.

Packet pickup will be held starting at 7pm on Friday night of the race start. Race-day registration WILL be available. Race headquarters will be located in downtown Wichita, Kansas at RiverWalk Church of Christ 238 N. Waco in Wichita.

The finish line for all events is the same as the start.

25K, 50K and 50-Mile runners can have drop bag access at the turn around aid-station at Sedgwick County Park (mile 7.5 for 25K and 50K and mile 11, 26.5, and 42.5 for 50-mile) and at the start/finish (mile 15.5 for 50K and mile 19 and 34.5 for 50-mile). Drop bags should be left in the marked areas at the start/finish by 8:45pm and should be marked with name, bib # and distance.

Limited parking is available at the Riverwalk Church of Christ venue (225 N. Waco St.). Additional free parking is available at 238 N. Waco as well as at the Farm Credit Building (245 N. Waco). Additional paid parking lots and paid parking garages available within a short walking distance.

Free race photos for all participants will be provided by Mile 90 Photography.

Family Promise of Greater Wichita unites hearts and hands to provide compassionate hospitality and empower homeless families with children to achieve sustainable independence. Deferral/Transfer/Refund Policy

Deferral Policy:
Notification more than a month before the event: The dollar amount paid can be deferred to the following year's event (or another event upon Race Director's discretion).
Notification within 4 weeks to 2 weeks before the event: Half of the dollar amount paid can be deferred to the following year's event (or another event upon Race Director's discretion).
Notification after 2 weeks before the event: No deferrals.

Transfer Policy:
Transfers of registration to another participant are only allowed for the originally registered event. Race directors must be notified by email more than one week before the event. Race Directors have the discretion to approve or deny a registration transfer.

Refund Policy:
At the Race Director's discretion, a percentage of the registration fee may be refunded via the registration site based on the date notified, race supplies purchased, etc.
