Ultra-Trail Du Mont-Blanc

One of the worlds most difficult foot races, with numerous passages at high altitude and difficult conditions (night, wind, cold, rain and/or snow).  Unique to this race is the evening start at 6:30pm, which almost guarantees two nights of running. 

Approximately, 2300 people compete in this event making it the largest long distance ultra in the world.

Aid Stations

The principle of the race is semi-self sufficiency. Ten posts will be supplied with drinks and/or food to be taken on site.  Runners have a mandatory list of items they must carry at all times including: a cup, whistle, jacket, water.
