Event Description

The 3rd annual event starts and finishes at the Jericho Horse Trail off of Hwy 41 and is a 10 mile trail run and relay that incorporates sections of the Swamp Fox Passage!

All solo runners will run DOWN the Swamp Fox Passage to Lotti Road and BACK while enjoying the entire route in the SHADE!

Relay Teams:

YOU are responsible for getting to and from the exchange points and picking up your team members!

2 Person Relay: Have one person at the starting line racing towards Lotti Road where the second member of the relay team will be waiting! Tag your relay partner and head back up the trail to the finish line!

4 Person Relay:

Have one person at the starting line ready to run! when the event starts the other 3 members of the relay team will drive down to where the trail crosses Conifer Road (right after running down the concrete walkway) Exchange with runner number #2. Runner #2, you head 2 miles down the trail to Lotti Road where you will meet up with the relay team. #3...you run back UP the trail stopping at Conifer Road to do the final exchange with runner #4! #4...Charge up the remaining 3 miles of trail and cross the finish line!

There are TWO water stations along the course route. One at Conifer Road and one at Lotti Road. Snack items will be present at the Lotti Road aid station.

Packet Pickup:

Race packets can be picked up at The Foot Store, Mount Pleasant on FRIDAY September 2nd, from 12 noon to 2 PM.
Packets can also be picked up morning of the race from 8AM until 8:30AM.

The Foot Store is located in the Sweetgrass Shoppping Center. The address is:

1909 Highway 17 North, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.

Registration is available day of the event from 0730-0800.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL GET A COOL PINT GLASS INSTEAD OF A SHIRT THIS YEAR. 12 AND UNDER GET A RACCOON HAT!

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

This event will happen rain or shine and under no circumstance will we issue refunds. We will not allow bibs to be given to other runners and we will not transfer your registration to another year.

The Raccoon Pond Rush 10 Mile Trail Run and Relay is operated under a special use permit with the Francis Marion National Forest.
