Thanks for this wonderful experience! Alaska presented extra challenges for us but it made the victory all the sweeter. The most memorable was the 5th run in the dark with headlamps, with the Alaskan Northern Lights waving overhead, running on the snowy trail, with a moose bedded down off the trail with just his eyes visible at first--we had to change our course--and it was 1 degree!
