2016 Training Runs
One day only June 12, 2016.
Run to start at 7:30 am.
Limited to 150 runners. First come first serve.
The Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Runs is pleased to offer a training run to acquaint runners with different sections of the event course. We highly recommend that newcomers to our event join us for this run in order to become familiar with the trail and the conditions you might encounter on race day. The run will be the entire 55K course. There will be a turn around option. at 26 miles and if you add the Red House Loop it will make it a full 55K.
We are limited to 150 runners per day.
The run will begin and end at the dirt parking lot at the intersection of Hwy 50 & Hwy 28. You will have the option of running the complete 55K course by including the Red House Loop or turning around at Tunnel Creek and making it a 26 miles day.
There will be two aid stations (Tunnel Creek and Hobart). We recommend that each runner bring at least two water bottles or a bladder system that carries a minimum of 70 ounces.
Please note that our aid stations are fairly stripped down affairs and not full service. Plan to self support with water and some snacks available at these locations.
The $40 fee is required to insure that we have adequate food and fluids at our aid stations. The registration fee covers permitting expenses plus both aid station food/beverages and end of the run refreshments, including our traditional spread of burgers (meat and veggie), sausages, fruit, smoothies, sodas, and beer.
