Running + Beer + BBQ = Be there!
25k (16 miles) all trail, no loops, and a rockin' after-party! One long trail run on varying terrain, mostly forest shaded. Everything from rock scrambling uphills to single track downhills, to mountain bike havens, large river crossings and as few fireroads as possible in order to get you back on lovable dirt enlightenment. 2800-3000 ft of upward elevation. The trails are very technical and challenging. A great course to hike, run, or both. Its really an adventure and a beautiful park. You won't know you are 8 miles outside Baltimore. 3 Aid Stations with plenty of water and some food. Course markings and detailed maps will be included. The after party will include 2-3 craft-brew kegs, pulled pork, BBQ, river swimming, cornhole and horseshoes.

50k Info
There has been talk of some people wanting a 50k option. We are currently looking into a sanctioned version of this. The park is being talked to, and we are awaiting their word. If you are interested in a 50k option (two loops, one being unsupported), wait to register.
Parking
Parking is OUTSIDE THE PARK this year! Do not drive into the park on race day. If you do, you risk our event being cancelled next year.
This year, we will require that all runners and visitors make use of our shuttle buses (running all day) to and from our parking area off of Rolling Rd:
Park and Ride lot at I-195 and Rolling Road in Baltimore County
Bus fee and park entry are included in the ticket price (its why it went up $10 this year). Shuttling will occur throughout the entire day for runners and visitors. We urge runners to arrive 2 hrs early (0630-0700) at the parking lot, so we can transfer hundreds of you before the race start time with a minimal number of buses.
