Race Basics

Location: Berryman Campground - Potosi, MO
Start Date/Time: Saturday September 17-18, 6:00am CDT
Distance: 50 Mile 2 x's 25 mile loops, 100 Mile 4 x's 25 mile loops
Elevation: 2,500 feet of ascent/2,500 feet of descent per loop. 5000 for 50 Mile, 10000 for 100 Mile
Time Limit: 50 Mile -16 hours. 100 Mile - 32 Hours
Aid Stations: 5 Manned including 2 drop bag locations with crew access per loop
Pacers: 100 mile racers can use a pacer starting their 3rd loop through the finish
Awards: 50 Mile Distance Medal, 100 Mile Distance receive Finishers Buckles, Two Tone Buckle for Sub 24 hours

A classic Mid West trail ultra marathon, the Mark Twain 50/100 Mile Endurance Run, is in its 5th year. The course is a 99% single track trail race with rolling runnable sections and technical climbs. The race is held in the Mark Twain National Forest outside Berryman, MO on the Berryman Trail located about 1.5 hours from St. Louis, MO. The Berryman Trail is a 25 mile loop that will be repeated 2 or 4 times counter clockwise. The loop starts and stops in the Berryman Campground where you and your crew/family are welcome to stay and camp for no cost. The St Louis Ultra Group provides excellent aid and a great venue with generous time limits to provide both the most veteran of runners and first timers a great experience.
