2018 Race July 28-29
Awesome trail races in western Colorado: high elevation, great scenery, great singletrack, free camping, with a relaxed and fun atmosphere!
Local time: 2:51 AM
Come enjoy some good old fashioned Colorado mountain trail races run at high elevation! You will love the terrain: It varies from technical rocky climbs, fast flowing forest track, remote off-trail sections, and as much awesome single track as possible! Wildflowers, wildlife, alpine meadows, endless lakes and streams, pine and aspen forests with views galore! The average elevation is slightly over 10,000', and the highest point is the summit of Crag Crest at 11,200'. You can expect some amazing views!
The races take place on the uncrowded West Slope of Colorado (between Grand Junction & Cedaredge) on the Grand Mesa, which is known as the largest flat-topped mountain in the world. Come see why the West Slope is the Best Slope!
We offer 4 race distances (100m, 50m, 55k, 30k) and LOTS of free camping so gather your friends and family and join us for a great weekend in the mountains!!
