The 1st Annual Tommyknocker Ultras will take place on September 6, 2014 • Start/Finish is at Camp Elim, nestled in the shadow of Pikes Peak in the town of Woodland Park, CO. Please see our website for information and qualifying standards.
Local time: 6:15 PM
The Tommyknocker 100K and 50K Ultras are challenging races with spectacular views of Pikes Peak, Pikes National Forest and the surrounding areas. The course features fire roads and single-track trails with less than 4 miles of paved road. The race is a rewarding challenge for all. There is a fantastic post-race barbecue, great tech-fabric race shirt and goodie bag with useful, ultra-specific items from our outstanding sponsors.
CREWS AND SPECTATORS ARE PROHIBITED FROM THE COURSE AT ALL TIMES.
PACERS ALLOWED FOR THE 100K ONLY (Mile 46.6 to the Finish)
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Tommyknocker is a lot of fun to run, and volunteering at the race can also be a blast. You meet great people, help your community, and get food and some cool swag, too. It’s also a good way to learn about ultrarunning and improve your own performance by observing a lot of runners’ pacing and aid station strategies. Check out the Volunteers link on the Tommyknocker website to sign up to volunteer.
CUP-"LESS" The Tommyknocker Ultras are cup-less races. We look to reduce our impact through recycling, food composting, and runners carrying their own cups to use at aid stations. Please come prepared with your own cup, bottles or hydration bladders to properly hydrate at our aid stations.
