BRRC Gunpowder Keg Ultra
The Baltimore Road Runner's Club is pleased to once again put on our annual trail ultra in Northern Baltimore County's Gunpowder State Park, Bunker Hill section. This beautiful and challenging race is run on a 15.5 mile loop of mostly single track trails, a smattering of fire road, and a small downhill stretch on an asphalt road. 50K runners will complete this loop twice. Many of the miles are adjacent to the Gunpowder river with heron sightings and fly fisherman sightings almost guaranteed. We will have at least 3 aid stations for each loop. They may be self service, but staffed by courteous volunteers if they again agree to show up.
Local time: 12:14 AM
This is a "fat ass" style event so there is no fee for the race. We do ask all to bring a gallon of water for the aid stations, and any snacks you might wish to share. We also try to collect a $5 "donation", all of which goes to the Park.
Race Directors are Kristin Bremer (firstname.lastname@example.org), Brian Flowers, and Bart Rein. Contact Kristin with questions.
