THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED
Hello, High Drive runners!
Given the current restrictions in place, and the prediction of a slow opening, we have decided to cancel the High Drive Challenge. We understand that large group gatherings need to be put on hold temporarily, so we made this choice out of respect for our entire community. We’ll be back to hosting events soon enough! For registered runners, here are your two options:
Option 1: Transfer 100% of your fees to another Mad Moose Event. You will need to indicate that you prefer the transfer on UltraSignup. You can do this by editing your registration through the link provided on this email. Your credit will be good for one year. This means that you can register for any event we have open for registration, including events that are hosted beyond April 2021. You do not have to choose an event immediately. Then give it a day or two, as we update those credits manually after you decide. It will be attached to your email address and automatically apply when you register for another of our events.
Option 2: Choose to run the race virtually. You can run any course, at your chosen race distance, at any time between May 22 - May 25, 2020. You do not have to run the actual race course. You can run from anywhere. Have a chance to run the first ever High Drive Challenge Virtual Race. Show your support for a great community event. If you choose this option, we will send swag for the event your way!
Please send us an email, at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you need assistance. If you’re looking for information about how we are handling registrations during this time, please see our website.
Thanks for your continued support and understanding. We wish you all the very best.

Virtual Race Information
With all that is happening right now, joining a virtual race is a great way to stay motivated, and gives runners the opportunity to interact with the running community virtually! Join our Facebook event group. Share pictures of your training and race day experiences. And for those in the Brewers' Cup, it's your chance to earn some points for your team. Choose between a 4 Mile or 10 Mile course. You choose your own course; a course in Bear Creek Park and on High Drive is not required. Please make responsible choices when designing your own challenge. Report your results, via the Google Form Link on the website, to be included in the results.
Run your race between 5/22 - 5/25/2020. You will be sent a bib, finisher's medal, Mad Moose socks and head wear. You must report your time, to be included in the results. Registration closes 5/10/2020.
High Drive Challenge
The High Drive Challenge will begin in Colorado Springs' Bear Creek Park and the ten mile distance will run to the top of High Drive, before coming back to the finish line. High Drive was constucted as a scenic drive, in the early 1900's, and its vistas are still as stunning!
Local time: 6:12 AM
