2021 Registration & Lottery

Right now it is unclear if the 2021 race will take place. We will be working with our permitting agencies and monitoring the state of our country before making a decision about whether to hold this race or not. It is simply too early to make that call and we will keep this page updated as soon as we have more information.

The lottery will look different this year as anyone who was registered for the 2020 event was given the option to roll over to 2021. We will update this page and our website with that information as well, once a decision is made. We appreciate your patience!

Description

The Waldo 100K Ultramarathon is a challenging 100K loop-type course starting at Willamette Pass Ski Area (70 miles east of Eugene, Oregon) at elevation 5120', climbing up several mountains including Fuji, The Twins, and Maiden Peak before returning to the ski area. The route is mostly single-track trails with some fairly remote sections and has many incredible views of pristine Waldo Lake. It is not a beginner-level ultra and we recommend coming into the race with experience.

Camping/Pre-Race Dinner

There is free camping for Friday and Saturday nights at the Willamette Pass Ski Resort (location of the start/finish). In conjunction with our race briefing on Friday evening, we will also be serving a pre-race spaghetti dinner at the pass. All of the proceeds from the dinner go to the Willamette Pass Ski Patrol (suggested donated $10).

Post Race Festivities

This race is a fundraiser for the Willamette Pass Ski Patrol, a group who are instrumental in the success of the race (most of the volunteers you will see are associated with the ski patrol). We want to encourage runners to stick around after their race and cheer on their fellow runners! We will have a free taco bar, local craft beer, plenty of non alcoholic drinks, and music. The post race festivities are free for everyone, so bring the whole family!
