The Natchez Trace Trail
Run is an excellent introduction to trail racing and a strong choice for runners tackling their first trail marathon or first 50-mile race.
The course rewards smart pacing, steady effort, and attention to fueling. Long stretches of uninterrupted trail allow runners to settle in and focus on execution, while the cumulative elevation and rugged sections ensure the distance is fully earned.
For experienced runners, the course offers an opportunity to run consistently and efficiently. For first-time ultra athletes, it provides a setting that allows you to learn the rhythms of longer trail racing without overwhelming complexity.
This race also typically sells out, often well before race weekend. If this event is on your calendar, early registration is strongly recommended.
