Description
The night will consist of a big splash and belly flop contest on the diving boards. We are working on a few celebrity type judges to judge the jumps. Justyn himself will be a judge, along with a GEHS coach and working on a few more. Each contestant will get two jumps with the top scores moving on to a third jump. Several fun jump category awards will be given after each age level event. During the pool event we will also have cardboard boat races in the pool. The younger groups will race one length of the pool in 5 minutes and the older groups will race two lengths of the pool within a 10 minute time frame. Fun awards will be given to the Unsinkable, most creative, best dressed crew and best team spirited crew.
From 9-11pm in the overflow parking lot of the Gardner Aquatic Center a drive in movie will be showing for all of those who would like to attend. Food vendors will be selling yummy movie snacks to enjoy during the movie. The movie will be appropriate for all ages. So bring your blankets and chairs and sit back under the stars and enjoy the show.
A silent auction and raffle with memorabilia, sport tickets, gift cards and goodies will be going on in Corner Stone Park all evening.
Several fun activities are being organized for those watching the evening events. Spectators are welcome to attend the events and enjoy a night of fun to support LCP and Justyn.
Rainout date
If the event is rained out on June 8, 2012. The Big Spalsh, Belly flops and Cardboard boat races will be rescheduled for June 22, 2012 from 8-10 pm. The movie will also go on in the over flow parking lot to the pool. Food and silent auction will be available but all other events outside in Corner Stone Park will be cancelled. Celebrity type judges will not be rescheduled. No Refunds Available.
