Ramble on Romero

Santa Barbara Running is excited to present the inaugural RAMBLE ON ROMERO TRAIL RACE. The trail race will consist of two different race distances, a 6-mile course and a 12-mile course. Both races will start and finish at the Romero Canyon Trailhead on Saturday, March 5th at 9am. You can expect beautiful and challenging courses, rad finisher gear (seriously, like stuff you will actually want to keep and show off to all of your friends), coffee at the start, good food, oh and did we say M. Special Beer at the finish? Also, our friends and sponsor Altra Running will be there with their trail shoes so you can give them a demo run for the race. Thank you to physiophyx for being the nutrition and hydration sponsor. This race benefits the Montecito Trails Foundation. We are so grateful for all that they do in preserving and maintaining our beautiful trails.

RACE DAY

Saturday, March 5th start time at 9:00am

We ask that you please carpool to the race. Parking is extremely limited (there is not a lot, it is all street parking) and we want to keep the neighborhood happy so we can continue to have this race in the future.

PACKET PICK-UP

Packet pick-up will be held at Santa Barbara Running Funk Zone location (110 Anacapa Street, SB, CA 93101 805.899.8802) on Friday, March 4th from 10am-6pm. We would like to encourage you to please pick up your packet on Friday so we can put our efforts into ensuring an on time start race morning. We understand not everyone can pick up their packet on Friday.

RACE COST

Register by February 14, 2016 for early bird registration: $50 for the 6-mile course and $70 for the 12-mile course

Race registration increases to $60 for the 6-mile course and $80 for the 12-mile course on February 15, 2016.

Online registration closes March 2, 2016.

Late registration will be available at packet pick up on March 4, 2016 and race day morning, March 5, 2016: $70 for the 6-mile course and $90 for the 12-mile course.

AWARDS AND RAFFLES

Every finisher will receive a rad finisher medal (trust us, you don't have a medal like these hanging on your wall of fame). Every finisher will also get a surprise finisher gift to be used at the finsh line.

We will have raffle prizes from Altra Running, Santa Barbara Running, Handlebar Coffee Roasters, physiophyx, M. Special Brewing and rabbit.

MISC.

Sorry, there are no refunds or race registration transfers to other runners.

Please respect the trails and leave no trace of any garbage.

There will be an aid station when you get to the four-way intersection (4 miles and 8 miles into the race). We will have water and physiophyx.
