Have fun.

We are very excited to host this event in Upstate SC and look forward to seeing everyone on race day.
This is a unique event as we are hosting 2 different disciplines at the same track during one weekend. We hope that everyone enjoys the race. We encourage participants to bring their crew and enjoy Upstate SC before and after the races. Greenville has a variety of available accommodations and restaurants within a few minutes of the venue.
If you plan to bring a RV, camper, etc, you may set up in the parking lot (no water hook ups) after all school sports and activities have concluded on Friday, April 8th.

The stadium restrooms will be open during race days and hopefully the evening before. We won't have Port o Johns since these are conveniently located. If you plan to stay overnight Friday, please let us know so that we can inform the school and district security (so that they're aware).

No refunds or deferred entries

Unfortunately we cannot do refunds or deferred entries.

crews and aid stations

We encourage runners to bring a crew. Tents are permitting with sandbag or another weight. Due to the irrigation system on the field stakes, etc that go into the ground are prohibited.

The RW will have water.
The timed events will have water and electrolyte drinks, sodas, sweet tea (at times) sweet and salty food items during the day. We will have some hot food items during the afternoon and overnight/morning. Samples of warm/hot items may include broth and ramen noodles; cheese sandwiches or tortillas; bacon; coffee. Other items may be available based on entrants and volunteers at the aid station.
IF YOU NEED ANYTHING SPECIFIC FOR DIETARY OR PERFORMANCE NEEDS, PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING THESE ITEMS.

3K, 5K, 10K

All Racewalks will be held concurrently and there will be a 75 minute time limit. Anyone on the track after the time limit will be a DNF. If you don't think you can complete 10,000m within the time limit, please register for the 5,000 or 3,000 racewalk. NOTE: you can only register for one distance and that distance must be completed in order for any intermediate splits to be recorded. These distances are for RW only. The USATF rules for RW championships don't permit runners and walkers who aren't adhering to RW protocols and guidelines.
However during the timed events, participants can stop when they complete a desired distance or time. We just ask that you notify the timer if you are done prior to the end of the race time.

Shirts

Guaranteed shirts will be cut off March 1st as we are all dealing with supply chain issues.
If you register after 11:59PM March 1st, we cannot guarantee a shirt will be available. Also, there isn't a no shirt discount.
If we have extra shirts after the events, we will let runners know.
We cannot mail packets or shirts.

100 Mile Recognition

Runners who complete 100 or more miles will receive a special item denoting this and these will be mailed. We will order them after the results are official and then mail to you if you'd like. I can also have a day/time to pick up for locals if needed.

USATF Association medals will be awarded to the top 3 males and females in the Open division as well as the USATF 5-year Masters divisions for each of the Ultra and Race Walk events.
