Description

Welcome to Bruneau Dunes Trail Run. And welcome to Trail Maniacs. Trail Maniacs is a North Idaho based trail running company offering trail running parties in state parks and local trails throughout Washington and Idaho. Here is what makes us standout; we don't believe in race trinkets, however we will challenge you and throw you one heck of a party! Our state park series offers awesome camping opportunities for you, your family and your friends. We have a Friday evening pot luck, real food items at the aid stations, and a sweet post-race party, not your typical bananas and bagels but REAL food. At Bruneau Dunes we will have a taco bar with all the fixings, sweets and adult beverages. Families are always welcome!
Here are some details about our race at Bruneau Dunes State Park: We will start at the Picnic area, just follow the Trail Maniac signs to the start. An Idaho Parks Pass is required or you can pay $5.00 at the gate.

Bruneau Dunes State Park boasts the tallest single-structured sand dune in North America with a peak rising 470 feet above the surrounding desert floor. What this means for you? Well don’t expect a PR, but instead plan on a challenge and be prepared for a difficult race.

You can expect this event to offer wide open trails with some sand. First 7 miles are mostly flat with sandy areas. The last 5 miles you will be running/ hiking the dunes.
