Cheatham Wildlife Management Area is a scenic and expansive 20,000 acre natural environment just northwest of Nashville. You'll spend most of the course running soft dirt and packed gravel jeep roads, with about 25% in the deep woods on single track style trails. There will be one stream crossing where getting your feet wet is optional depending on how far you can jump! With only 729ft of elevation gain through the Half course and just over 1450ft on the Marathon course you'll be one happy trail runner at the end of the race. The Marathon course is 2x the Half course, which allows us to provide racers with Aid Stations about every 3 miles. There will be access to bathrooms at the start and finish, which is about 200 yards from the Parking Area. Look for yellow 'Trail Race" signs to point the way into the from the Petway/Griffintown roads intersection.
