Lawrence Trail Hawks 7th annual Shoreline Shuffle 5k

Tough enough for veterans, short enough for beginners, the Shoreline Shuffle 5K Trail Run is a rugged romp through the woodlands of Clinton Lake State Park. The heart of the run is a 1.1-mile section of toothy trail known as "The Jaws of Clintie," along the shores of Clinton Lake. Clintie, as you may know, is the legendary sea-creature that haunts the lake's depths. Some say Clintie is half catfish, half alligator, grown to the size of a Buick! You may catch a glimpse of Clintie if you're foolish enough to look up from the technical trail while running. You will definitely see plenty of other like-minded people out for a fantastic spring race. Snacks at the finish, awards for first three male and female finishers, and a cool Shoreline Shuffle coffee mug for all entrants. Hope to see you there!

A fairly technical trail run featuring rocky, rooty sections and smooth flat areas through beautiful shady woods, with scenic lake views.
