VCHM Race Venue

The Valley Crest Half Marathon, known as "The Friendliest Race in L.A.", is a hilly mountain half-marathon on historic Mulholland fire road that treats runners to beautiful spring foliage and magnificent vistas of the San Fernando Valley.

The race is run in early June, and typically has cool, overcast weather. Close to Hollywood, Malibu and downtown Los Angeles, this is the perfect locale for a get-away weekend that includes some awesome time on the trails!

*Note: This event is run on a hilly trail course and is open to runners 14 years of age and older.

Race Day Registration

Race day registration will be available from 6:00am to 7:30am. Race day registration fee is $100. Please preregister online to insure your shirt size and save a few dollars.

Awards, Swag & Features

~ VCHM features Computerized Chip Timing.
~ The course is entirely on county-maintained fire roads, with aid stations approximately every 3.0 miles making is a great first-timer trail run!
~ All runners will receive a customized technical race shirt.
~ Finisher Medals to all who complete the race course.
~ $300. Cash Award to Overall First Place Male/Female.
~ Awards to the Top Three Males/Females in 5-year age divisions.
