Valley Crest Half Marathon
The Valley Crest Half Marathon, known as "The Friendliest Race in L.A.", is a hilly mountain half-marathon on historic Mulholland fire road that treats runners to beautiful spring foliage and magnificent vistas of the San Fernando Valley. The race is run in early June, and typically has cool, overcast weather. The course is entirely on county-maintained fire roads, with aid stations approximately every 3.0 miles making is a great first-timer trail run! The Valley Crest is an RRCA State Championship Race that offers $300 cash to the male/female open champions and awards 3-deep in 5-year age divisions; 14th annual. *Note: This event is run on a hilly trail course and is open to runners 14 years of age and older.
