50K: One of the premier 50k trail races in the southeast--The Rock/Creek StumpJump 50k presented by Salomon, takes place on a beautiful mostly single-track trail on Signal Mountain and Walden Ridge. With views of the Tennessee River Gorge and lush coves of cascading streams, hemlock, and rhododendron, these sandstone-strewn trails offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the Cumberland Plateau region. In 2015, we introduced a new Stump Jump course, eliminating the gravel spiral around the high school and utilizing more single track/bluff trail on Signal Mountain...This course is harder. There is now over 6000+ ft. elevation gain.
