New Distances!

When you register choose amongst the following distances:
1) "100M" = 30M, 45M, 60M, 75M or 100M - just let us know which you THINK you'll be running by answering question at checkout. You can change your mind right up until race day - no DNFs for us!
2) "15M" or "Relay" (15M total, 7.5M per runner, team of 2)

Race Time and Dates

Ultra Race:
Starts at Camp Tevya in Brookline (1 Mason Rd)
Date: Saturday October 20th, 2018
Time: 9:00am on Saturday to 3:00pm on Sunday (30 hour time limit).
Check-in: 7:00-8:50am
Distance: Any multiple of 15 miles. Run 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 or 100 miles, with an option for "bonus miles" over 100. Choose your distance at registration but you can change on race day; there are no DNF's (We only use the distance you have registered at as a guideline for supplies).NO CUPS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR HOT OR COLD BEVERAGES! PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE CUP FOR HOT AND COLD DRINKS/FOOD. This has a huge impact on the amount of trash generated over the course of this event, so thank you in advance for your help!

Also, pacers are allowed for the ultra after 30 miles

15 Mile Race
:
Starts at the Milford DPW (298 South Street)
Date: Sunday October 21st, 2018
Time: 8:00am to 12:00pm. (Four hour time limit).
Check-in: 6:00am to 7:50am.
Distance: 15 miles (7.5 miles from the start to the turnaround, then 7.5 miles back). NO CUPS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR HOT OR COLD BEVERAGES! PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE CUP FOR HOT AND COLD DRINKS/FOOD. This has a huge impact on the amount of trash generated over the course of this event, so thank you in advance for your help!

Relay Race: Two person.
Starts at the Milford DPW (298 South Street)
Date: Sunday October 21st, 2018
Time: 8:00am to 12:00pm. (Four hour time limit).
Check-in: 6:00am to 7:50am.
Distance: 7.5 miles each
Note: First runner goes from the start at the Milford DPW to Camp Tevya in Brookline, and the second returns. 7.5 miles each way. Runners are responsible for transporting themselves between start/turnaround. NO CUPS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR HOT OR COLD BEVERAGES! PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE CUP FOR HOT AND COLD DRINKS/FOOD. This has a huge impact on the amount of trash generated over the course of this event, so thank you in advance for your help!

Note before you register: There will be no refunds, deferrals or bib switches.

If you register and thereafter cannot make the race, please consider your entry fee to be a donation to the
Conservation Commissions to help maintain and improve the trails. We thank you!

Description

Join us for the 10th annual Ghost Train Rail Trail Races, part of the Trail Animals Running Club (TARC) Trail Series (http://trailanimals.com/tarc-trail-series/). Note that this race is New Hampshire's one and only 100 mile race, and is only one of two ultras in the Granite State! 

We aim to provide a race that welcomes new trail runners into the sport as well as provide a solid race for more experienced runners.

All of the proceeds for this race go to the Milford and Brookline Conservation Commissions. The money is used to maintain and improve the trails. Past improvements have included widening the trail and putting a new bridge over the old railroad trestle.
