Event starts at 7:00 AM sharp and ends at 7:00 PM.
** Come out to beautiful Chattahoochee Pointe Park ready to rack up some miles. **

The endurance event begins at 7:00 AM and ends at 7:00 PM. The 8-hour run ends at 3:00 PM; the 12-hour run ends at 7:00 PM.

The park is complete with restrooms, shaded areas, and plenty of parking. There are NO lights along the path. You may need head lamp until sunrise and then a bit after sunset. Wearing gaiters is recommended.

This Forsyth County park is located within a residential community and open to the public during daylight hours.

No refunds, transfers, rollovers, or deferments.

Runner Aid and Lap Counting

There will be one aid station with drinks, cold and hot food, cookies, candy, and anything else we can think of. Pizza, soup, and grilled cheese sandwiches will be offered later in the day. Some vegetarian items will be included. As there is plenty of parking close to the course, there is ample room for runners to set-up chairs, small tables, and other self-support items.

Lap Counting is done by seasoned volunteers, some who are runners themselves. Only full loops count; if runners are in the middle of a lap at cut-off time (3:00 PM, 7:00 PM), only the last full lap completed counts toward final mileage. Counting is a manual process; we know mistakes may occur. If we miss a lap, we’ll take your word for it. Any discrepancies in lap counts will be decided by the Race Director. **NOTE: We count by laps completed, not by what your watch shows. This course has been measured and the lap count is what counts.

The course loop is a .8745 mile circular crushed gravel path with grass shoulder inside Chattahoochee Pointe Park. Only complete laps are counted toward final mileage. For major distances, here are the number of complete laps required:
Marathon = 30 laps
50K = 36 laps
50 miles = 58 laps
There are no rocks or roots to trip you and the soft surface is kind to your legs. The course is located along the Chattahoochee River so in the event of rain or snow, there will be wet areas to navigate. For those who are not trail runners and prefer not to run on asphalt, this race is for you!

We need volunteers to assist with race set-up, packet/bib pick-up, lap counting, aid station support, and race site clean-up. Please let your family and friends know they can come with you to help out during the race! See the Volunteer Registration button next to Registration. Thanks!

Each 8-hour and 12-hour runner will receive an event completion award. Please ensure your current address is in Ultra Signup when you register. Runners present at the race site at 7:00 PM are eligible to win one of several prizes that will be raffled off at the close of the race. Runners must be present to win and no prizes will be mailed or given to anyone other than the runner.
